Welcome to our Food Service Page!
Welcome to Constantine Public Schools' dining experience, where food isn't just nourishment, but a cornerstone of well-being. Our cafeteria isn't just a place to eat; it's a hub for connection, recharge, and happiness within our school community. We're committed to serving meals that students love, while also promoting fun and discovery through innovative programs.
At Constantine Public Schools, we prioritize fresh, nutritious, locally sourced ingredients that are minimally processed. Our foodservice team is dedicated to creating a sense of culinary adventure through experiential learning activities, fostering healthier students, communities, and a better planet.
Every day, our goal is simple: to ensure that every student leaves our cafeteria happier and healthier than when they arrived."

Michigan 10 Cents a Meal Grant
Constantine Public School is proud to participate in the Michigan 10 Cents a Meal Grant, a state-funded initiative aimed at providing students with fresh, locally- grown produce while supporting Michigan's farmer's.
What is the 10 Cents a Meal Grant?
The MI 10 Cents a Meal Program matches school district's purchases of Michigan-grown fruits and vegtables by reimbursing up to 50% of the cost. This partnership helps schools provide healthier meal options for students while boosting the local agricultural economy.
Our Impact in 2023-2024
During the 2023-24 school year, Constantine Food Service purchased $25,637.76 worth of Michigan-grown produce, with over $8,000 of this coming from Corey Lake Orchards. This initiative not only ensured fresher, more diverse produce for our students but also contributed directly to the success of local farms.
Continuing for 2024-2025
We're excited to announce that Constantine Schools will continue participating in the grant for the 2024-25 school year, providing even more opportunities for our students to enjoy fresh, locally-sourced produce while supporting Michigan farmers.
By participating in the MI 10 Cents a Meal Grant, we're making a commitment to better nutrition for our students and a stronger community for everyone.
